The Youth Ministry of Morris Hill Baptist Church is to: Lift up the Savior, reach students, connect with
other Christians, to become more like Christ, and equip for service; so everyone who worships here can express
Christ's love around them.
We work hard to present a well rounded youth program to develop our youth spiritually, socially, and
physically. By offering a variety of activities and studies, we feel it will benefit our young people,
their families, and their communities. Please keep the youth ministry in your daily prayers that God will
raise up strong, Christian young people.
We feel that teenage years can be the most crutial when developing a strong believer in Christ. That is why
we call our youth department (and new facility) The Foundation. As we help our young people in their
walk with God, it builds up and strengthens their foundation for life - Jesus Christ.

The goal of the Women’s Ministries is to
encourage ladies of the church to seek a balance and Spirit-filled walk with the
Lord in their personal and professional lives. We do this through participation
in bible studies (which foster a deeper commitment to Jesus Christ), expanding our
prayer lives (which will foster under girding of the church as a whole),
encouraging and supporting one another through fellowship (which will result in
meeting the needs of ladies in their daily personal and professional lives), and
through sharing our faith with others as they deepen their concern for the lost
people of the world. The purpose of the Women’s Ministries is to under gird
and support the ministries of the church, always focusing on our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ.
TLC - The Ladies Circle
Mom’s Support Ministry
For more information on this ministry, see Jamie Ellington or Shannon Leeth.
Mom’s Support Ministry is a ministry that supports and nurtures mother’s with
new babies or young children. The mother is visited upon the birth of the child and offered
any type of support that is needed. She may need:
1) Physical help with housework, shopping, errands,
meals, etc..
2) Emotional encouragement through post partum changes and learning
to care for the baby.
3) Spiritual support to help her keep her eyes focused
on God.
4) Financial aid.
5) Friendship with other mothers. Mother’s of
children who are ill or in the hospital are also ministered to through this ministry (taking
care of other children, sitting with the sick child, preparing meals for the
family.)
Widows Support Ministry
The Widow Support Ministry expresses love and care for
widows in the church. They are ministered to through cards and visits. Widows
are encouraged to join in a dining out group and to meet with other widow and
friends at our church. Our widows are also encouraged to get involved in different areas of the
church to give spiritual support and to be mentors for the younger ladies. For
more information contact the church.
Special Events and Retreat Ministry
The purpose of the Special Events and Retreat Ministry is to unify women through additional activities and
projects. Opportunity is provided to enjoy old friends as well as to make new
ones. An annual retreat is planned to get away and enjoy a time of rest and
spiritual renewal. During this retreat women are encouraged to praise, rejoice,
laugh and cry together as they experience the love of Christ. Other activities
such as mini retreat and fellowships may also be planned. For more information
on retreats, mini retreats, or other fellowships, contact the church.
Hospitality Ministry
The Hospitality Ministry has the vital job of welcoming
our new members and visitors to the church. Ladies assemble welcome packages and
present them personally to new members as a token of love.
Shut In Ministry
The Shut In Ministry reaches out to those who are unable to attend
regular activities of the church and those in the hospital. The ladies provide a
regular visitation and prayer time in an endeavor to minister to their special

It is so amazing that we, as believers, can talk to the Almighty God. We can not only bring our needs
and wants to Him, but we can talk to Him about anyone and everyone.
If you would like to come to the church to pray for our soldiers, our country, and our President - contact
the church office so we can unlock the doors for you.
Watchman Prayer Wall
"Jerusalem I have put guards on the walls to watch. They must not be silent day or night. You people who
remind the Lord of your needs in prayer should never be quiet. You should not stop praying to Him."
Isaiah 62: 6-7.
Building a wall of prayer to watch over God's house:
...praying specifically for the ministries within Mooris Hill - such as leaders, deacons, staff, pastors,
members, and for a spiritual awakening among God's people.
...that God would send the lost to His house, a house of prayer.
...members are ecouraged to commit to prayer by signing up to pray for one hour a week and to pray the same
hour each week.
Our prayer is that we have someone praying for His church around the clock - day and night, 24/7, bulding a
wall of prayer.
Prayer Chain
This is used in times of emergency, such as death or surgery. You can sign up today by contacting the church
office or Janie Stitt.
Senior Men's Prayer Time
This is a time when our senior men gather early in the morning to pray. If you would like more information
about this time, contact Bill Riddle or the church office.
