Adult Bible Study

Whether you prefer to learn among your own age group, with other married couples, or singles, our many classrooms are alive with members of our church family - all eager to become more acquainted with God and His will for our lives.  We even have classes that allow for Bible study dedicated to both women and men.  Whatever your preference, all classes are designed to explore the authenticity of Scripture within the old and new testament books of the Bible.  Adult fellowship is vital to the spiritual and physical growth of our church.

KIDS Crossing at Morris Hill Baptist Church is for elementary aged students from kindergarten through 5th Grade. We offer Sunday School and Children’s church every Sunday beginning at 9:15am. We teach using the Gospel Project curriculum which is a Christ centered, chronological study of God’s word and helps kids dive deep into the BIG Story of the Bible; God’s plan to rescue his people through his Son, Jesus Christ.

KIDS Crossing also meets on Sunday evenings at 6pm. Our evening programs vary throughout the year and include focused Bible studies, fun musical theater productions, summer fun nights, and other special events, all geared to keep kids engaged and learning the word of God.

AWANA club is offered on Wednesday nights from 6-7:30pm, following closely along with the local school year calendar. During the summers we host a weeklong VBS and spend a week at CentriKid Camp.

Our goal at Morris Hill is to disciple our families completely, from young babies all the way up to our senior adults. No one is too young or too old to serve God and learn more about Him. We believe that we learn best when we use our gifts to serve God and others and spread the Good News of the Gospel.  It’s not enough to accept Christ as your savior.  We are commanded to “Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations…teaching them all the things I have commanded you” Matthew 28:19

Mission Work

Alaska.  Honduras.  Brazil. Waveryly.  Even in our hometown of Chattanooga, there is work to be done to ensure that the gospel message is delivered and heard.  Supporting own own mission teams as well as missionaries all over the world has been a tremendous focus for our congregation.

These are just a few of the many opportunities to become engaged in service to our Lord at Morris Hill.  Regardless of what your talents or abilities may be, we'll provide a way for you to use them to help further God's Kingdom on earth.
