Our Beliefs
THE BIBLE
We believe the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error for its matter. It is the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried.
GOD
We believe there is only one true and living God, the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He is infinitely perfect in all His attributes and exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are equal in essence and distinct in function, working together in the great work of redemption.
JESUS
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death on the cross, rose from the grave, and ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of God the Father. He is the only mediator between God and man, and He will one day return in glory to judge the living and the dead.
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He inspired holy men of old to write the Scriptures. Through illumination He enables men to understand truth. He exalts Christ, convicts men of sin, and calls them to the Savior, effecting regeneration and empowering the believer for spiritual growth and service.
THE CHURCH
We believe that the local church is a community of believers called by God to be His hands and feet in the world. As the Body of Christ, we are united in spirit and purpose to worship our Creator, serve one another, and proclaim the Gospel to all people. Our congregation is dedicated to living out the Great Commission, ensuring that every interaction is a testimony of His love and transformative power.
BAPTISM & THE LORD'S SUPPER
We believe Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior. The Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
SALVATION
We believe that salvation is a sovereign gift from God, provided solely through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not earned through human effort or merit, but is received through personal faith and repentance. In Christ, we find redemption, the forgiveness of sins, and the promise of eternal life with God.
