Every Wednesday night our church leads children in the AWANA Clubs program. Children are challenged to memorize scriptures and recite them in a positive and motivational time of Bible study and fun. The AWANA Club is open for anyone from 2 years to 5th grade. AWANA club is offered on Wednesday nights from 6-7:30pm, following closely along with the local school year calendar. Morris Hill Preschool DEPOT is for babies and children ages birth to 5/pre-kindergarten. We want to serve you and your family so that you are able to attend services and serve in other areas of our church. We have a great rotation of members that love to interact and play with the children in the Preschool DEPOT area every Sunday and Wednesday. While your children are being cared for, they will be provided a snack and drink. We have a quality safety team in place, so you can rest assured the safety of our children is a top priority while they are here. Here at Morris Hill Baptist Church, we believe building a foundation on God’s Word is essential even at a young age. So while your children are well-cared for, they are also learning truths about God. We use the Answers in Genesis curriculum where each child will hear the entire bible in the four years they are with our preschool department. We are always finding new and exciting ways to share God’s Word with our little ones. We also have a preschool choir that the kids participate in starting at the age of 2. The children learn praise songs while singing and playing instruments, and every few months praise God with music in our main Sunday Morning services. This is a favorite time for all! Kid's Crossing
KIDS Crossing at Morris Hill Baptist Church is for elementary aged students from kindergarten through 5th Grade. We offer Sunday School and Children’s church every Sunday beginning at 9:15am. We teach using the Gospel Project curriculum which is a Christ centered, chronological study of God’s word and helps kids dive deep into the BIG Story of the Bible; God’s plan to rescue his people through his Son, Jesus Christ. KIDS Crossing also meets on Sunday evenings at 6pm. Our evening programs vary throughout the year and include focused Bible studies, fun musical theater productions, summer fun nights, and other special events, all geared to keep kids engaged and learning the word of God. During the summers we host a weeklong VBS and spend a week at CentriKid Camp. Our goal at Morris Hill is to disciple our families completely, from young babies all the way up to our senior adults. No one is too young or too old to serve God and learn more about Him. We believe that we learn best when we use our gifts to serve God and others and spread the Good News of the Gospel. It’s not enough to accept Christ as your savior.
