Pastor Austin Preaching in the Foundation
The Foundation is a student ministry who’s focus is on cultivating an environment of healthy community, Biblical preaching and experiences which transform students lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that discipleship and growing in spiritual maturity should be the goal in everything we do. We seek to navigate life’s journey together, encouraging each other in the faith, and have fun along the way!
Students 6-12th grade are welcome to come join us for worship on Wednesday nights! The schedule for Wednesday nights are:
5:30 pm: Hangout / Dinner in Foundation
6:05 pm: Game
6:15 pm: Worship
7:00 – 7:30 pm: Small Groups
Students 6-12th grade are welcome to join us for Sunday morning Bible Study from 9:30-10:15 am in the Foundation.
Students 6-12th grade are welcome to join us on Sunday evenings from 6-7 pm for a Right Now Media Series Discussion and various activities. About once a quarter, we take an off-campus trip to serve in various capacities around Chattanooga on a Sunday afternoon. Family Ministries
At Morris Hill, we find it important for families to be engaged as a whole in the body of Christ. The whole family unit being engaged is vital to a healthy and thriving church. Therefore, we strive to provide opportunities for families to grow in their relationship with God & one another when they are a part of this body of believers. Our desire is for families to grow in Christian maturity, Biblical principles and community with one another.
We see this take place each week on Sunday mornings with our corporate worship gathering. We also focus specifically on marriage ministry, by taking marriage retreats and offering small groups for couples to be a part of within the church. We also like to do activities where students and their whole families are invited to be a part of something fun, such as roasting s’mores by the church firepit together or playing a game with each other. We know that Morris Hill Baptist Church thrives best when families are thriving together, and growing in their relationship with Jesus Christ with one another.
We also focus specifically on marriage ministry by taking marriage retreats and offering small groups for couples specifically focused on growing the health of their marriage in a Christ centered community.
We also enjoy hosting activities where students and their whole families are invited to be a part of something fun, such as roasting s’mores by the church firepit or participating in a family night of worship. We know that Morris Hill Baptist Church thrives best when families are growing in their discipleship to Jesus together.
